I'm taking some of the money I'd set aside for my birthday, and this week I am going to donate it to Planned Parenthood with a note saying that I'm doing so in Dr. Tiller's memory. I'm not posting this for a pat on the back, but rather to encourage others to do the same.
Dr. Tiller's murder was intended to send a message. To be afraid, to be discouraged. We need to send a message right back. Push, and we push harder. Not with violence, because we're better than you, but with our time, our money, and our voices.
If not Planned Parenthood, than any pro-choice organization you support. The important thing is to lend your support, back it up with a donation, and talk about it.
